Hotel Moka is one of Cuba’s few eco hotels with fantastic views over the Las Terrazas community.

Most visitors to Las Terrazas and Hotel Moka arrive by international flight to Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport. Increasingly Cuba Travelers discover the timesaving Cuba domestic flight that -amongst other routes- connect the countries most popular destinations like Santiago de Cuba, Holguin or Baracoa with the mesmerizing capital Havana.

From Havana airport or any hotel in Havana, a convenient private hotel transfer* can take you to hotel Moka. In case you have plans to explore other parts of Cuba, renting a car is without a doubt “the way to go”. Viazul runs the Havana – Viñales bus service, which stops in Las Terrazas.

Las Terrazas is an excellent place for hiking and bird watching. You can arrange for an (obligatory) guide by contacting the front desk of hotel Moka. Trails lead along the ruins of some of the 50+ coffee estates that once operated in the area.

Las Terrazas is the (only) place to be in Cuba for those of you who enjoy Canopy tours. The natural pools of Banos del San Juan present a perfect opportunity to go for a swim while being surrounded by nature.

A bit further out but definitely worth a visit is Soroa, also known as the “rainbow of Cuba” with a climate and annual rainfall that is perfect suited for growing orchids. The orquideario Soroa houses the largest orchid collection in Cuba.
